FRIENDSHIP CORNER KINDERGARTEN CLASS
|
|
The FRIENDSHIP CORNER KINDERGARTEN CLASS has an academic
based curriculum in which children are taught to think, problem solve, share ideas and write & read on their own level. The
Kindergarten Teacher incorporates an atmosphere of play that lends itself to learning experiences. The Illinois State Board
of Education has outlined their requirements of learning standards for Kindergarten children which will be followed in this
class. Children must be 5 Years Old ON or Before September 1st. We offer a full language arts curriculum that prepares children
to eagerly read and a hands-on math curriculum that encourages children to problem solve. Phonic reading and writing is stressed
to ensure success in elementary education grades. The small class size guarantees individualized attention. The Kindergarten
Teacher has a Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education and has been teaching at FRIENDSHIP CORNER for 28 years! The Kindergarten
class ends with a Graduation Program complete with diplomas and our best wishes for continued success in First Grade.
